#1: HARD WORK FEELS AMAZING AND PAYS OFF- it's so true. To me, there is nothing better than a hard swim practice where I am putting forward my best effort. Also, it really pays off at swim meets when you kick butt.
#2: DEDICATION- it sorta takes a lot of dedication and devotion to get up early and go to swim every morning, and to keep coming back after almost throwing up on the pool deck.
#3: SELF MOTIVATION- it would be almost impossible for my mom to get me to practice if I didn't want to go. Also, it would be hard for my coach to make me faster if I didn't want to be faster or if I didn't want to swim at all.
#4: RESPECT- I have learned to respect my coach, my teammates, and most of all myself.
#5: ORGANIZATION AND TIME MANAGEMENT- you might be asking yourself "How did swimming teach her this?" But it did, because it requires me to be on top of my school work, swim time, dryland, etc. It takes up so much of my time that I much choose what is really important to me such as good grades, practice, dryland, friends, homework, etc.
Also, I have learned basic things such as teamwork, friendship, hardwork, etc.
THERE IS SO MUCH MORE I COULD WRITE ABOUT, BUT I DON'T WANT YOU TO GET BORED READING THIS, AND THE LIST COULD GO ON FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!!
-Coffee
